Built for documents that make simple things sound complicated.

DocPlainly keeps the flow small on purpose: choose an image or PDF, review it, then read a structured explanation that separates summary, details, dates, amounts, and original context.

Explain. Organize. Remind. Respond.

Start with understanding. Keep going only when it helps.

Explaining is the core flow. Organizing, reminders, and response preparation are optional tools that become useful when you choose to keep an explanation.

  1. ExplainRead a plain-language breakdown and compare important details with the original.
  2. OrganizeSave an explanation to Secure History only when you want to return to it.
  3. RemindPaid plans can create email or calendar reminders for relevant future dates.
  4. RespondPaid plans can prepare document-aware drafts, questions, and call checklists for you to review.

Step 1: Upload a document file

Upload JPEG or PNG images up to 7 MB, or PDF files up to 15 pages and 10 MB. A smartphone photo usually works when the page is flat, readable, and fully in frame.

Step 2: Confirm the file

After choosing a file, confirm it is the right image or PDF before asking DocPlainly to explain it. Clear, complete files produce better explanations.

Step 3: Read the plain-language explanation

The AI returns a structured breakdown: a plain-language summary, important details, dates, amounts, and context for the wording. Dense language is rewritten in everyday terms.

Step 4: Ask follow-up questions about the wording

After the initial explanation, you can ask specific questions about any section. You might ask what changed, which date is referenced, or what a phrase is pointing back to.

Works well for everyday documents

Any document with dense wording, fine print, or language that seems designed to be skipped. The goal is explanation, not advice.

School and workplace forms

Deadlines, signatures, required documents, and next steps pulled into a cleaner structure.

What happens to the file you upload?

Images and PDFs are sent to OpenAI to generate your explanation. Original uploads are not added to Secure History and are not intended to be retained after processing, subject to the narrow exceptions in the Privacy Policy. Saving explanations is optional. Free accounts can keep a small Secure History on one device, and paid plans add more saved explanations plus encrypted cloud access. AI can make mistakes, so compare important details with the original document before acting.
