Plain language first
The goal is to explain what a document appears to say without burying the answer in more jargon.
About
DocPlainly was created as a helpful reading tool for everyday paperwork that uses industry language, fine print, or dense wording.
Many documents are written for systems, industries, and internal processes before they are written for the person who has to read them. A bill, notice, agreement, policy, or form can contain useful information, but the wording can make the important parts hard to find.
DocPlainly was created to help with that gap. The app gives people a way to upload a document and get a plain-language explanation that pulls forward the summary, important details, dates, amounts, and follow-up questions worth asking.
Industry language can create an uneven playing field. People who already know the terms can move quickly, while everyone else has to slow down, search, guess, or call for help. AI can help translate dense wording into clearer language so more people can understand what they are reading.
The point is not to make the document less important. It is to make the document easier to inspect. A good explanation should help you spot what matters, ask better questions, and compare the output against the original with more confidence.
The goal is to explain what a document appears to say without burying the answer in more jargon.
Complicated wording is common in everyday paperwork. Needing a clearer explanation is normal.
DocPlainly tries to pull forward dates, amounts, actions, and terms so you can compare them against the original document.
AI can make dense language easier to read, but it can also make mistakes. Important details should always be checked against the original.
Uploading is intentional, saving is optional, and the original uploaded file is not saved in local history or cloud history. Free accounts can try the core flow and keep a small local history on one device. Paid plans add higher limits, more saved history, and optional encrypted cloud history.
